Mathew Pathrose

Mathew Pathrose is a Physician Assistant who completed his training at Long Island University in Physician Assistant studies. In addition he also possesses a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Global Health Policy from the George Washington University in Washington, D. C.

Mathew’s interest in dermatology stemmed from his own battle with psoriasis which was diagnosed 2010. His own experience with a chronic skin condition has made him extremely empathic towards his patients and allows him to connect on a different level.

Mathew has over 9 years of experience in Dermatology. His expertise includes, but is not limited to acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin cancers, hair loss and hyperhidrosis. He is highly skilled at many procedures including excisions and simple closures of sebaceous cysts, biopsies and destruction of benign lesions. Mathew is a motivated and thorough practitioner who continues to increase his knowledge base and clinical skills. He is board certified by the NCCPA, a member of SDPA and is licensed to practice in the state of New York.
